A lovely 19th Century Coach House on the edge of Dartmoor, close to historic Tavistock and the Tamar Valley. The valley is of outstanding natural beauty, yet only 15 miles from Plymouth. Sorry, no children under 5 years old. The Coach House was built on a site, which was originally an Anglo Saxon settlement in 850 ad. It was built by The Duke of Bedford in 1857 to his own design as part of a model farm, and it was sold in 1988 and converted to a high standard. In 1996, an adjoining property was property was purchased to give the hotel a total of 12 bedrooms.
